The RAS47 AK pistol is 100% American-made and like the rifle version has multiple upgraded features over foreign made variants. The 1/16 stamped 4140 steel receiver and 4150 chrome moly barrel have a black nitride metal finish. The 10.6 barrel has a 1:10 twist and bird cage style flash hider. The muzzle has a concentric LH 14x1 metric threads for a variety of muzzle attachment options. It has an RAK-1 enhanced trigger group larger T-shaped magazine catch standard AKM sights with a front sight gas block retaining plate and bolt hold-open notch on the safety selector. The bolt carrier tail is heat-treated to ensure maximum performance and life. The RAS47 has the first AK side scope rail mount to offer a return to zero capability four times clamping improvement over traditional rails and improves sight acquisition for follow-up shots. The RAS47 accepts all standard AK magazines and is compatible with AKM features and after market components.The RAS47 pistol QD attachment points on rear of the receiver and comes with one 30-round magazine. It features Magpul's MOE AK pistol grip with built-in storage compartment and M-Lok compatible AK handguard.
